We all have our strengths and natural gifts.
I’m a born connector, and driven by forging relationships with others.
If you were at the 2012 Leadership Success Summit, and took Lynda-Ross Vega’s Talent Advantage assessment when we were speaking about Pillar #2 – Personality, you know that I am clearly an Activity Style.
This means that my mind and body are in constant movement, and I have to focus to complete a task as I am prone to distraction.
(Remember the article a few months ago about the birds and squirrels in my back yard?!?)
And, you can see it in my to-do list which is always long – and overwhelms most people I know.
The truth is – I do what I do best, and network the rest.
How about you?
Do you know what your natural gifts, and talents are?
Do you spend the majority of your time focused on your strengths?
Do you recognize if you are more task oriented or relationship oriented…and how that affects your to-do list?
What to-do’s do you have that could benefit from being more task focused, or relationship driven?
The Upside Challenge this week is to be intentional about building relationships each day, as well as recognizing what tasks must be accomplished in order to move forward with your BIG plan.
And, remember to focus on your strengths!
Life is change! Growth is optional! Choose wisely! Live Upside!
