What You Focus on Expands

On Day #2 at the 7th Annual Leadership Success Summit, I spoke about the importance of living your priorities.
Leadership Success Summit ~ 2015
In that presentation, I shared the top 7 success habits of millionaires, one of which was the clarity to know what you want and the importance of acting on it every day.
When you see your vision and take consistent action, it’s easier to get to your destination.
However, you can’t keep everything the same and be in a different place at the end of the year.
And, at the Leadership Success Summit, in the 1st exercise in Living Your Priorities, 95% of the attendees said they wanted something different.
So, if I gave you a magic button that would enable you to make one big change in your life, what would it be?
What is the one area of your life that you know needs to change in order for you to be in a different place at the end of the year?
Would it be….
- Your health?
- Your finances?
- Your relationships?
You know that there is something that is holding you back.
You know that you want more than you currently have.
Whether what you want is ultimately for others or yourself, it doesn’t really matter.
Know that this button exists – and it all starts with the power of choice.
You are where you choose to be.
And, right now, where you are is the sum total of all of the choices you’ve made.
Choose to live your priorities, not your best friends, families, or co-workers priorities.
The world needs you and your brilliance.
ACTION ITEM: The Upside Challenge of the week is to examine where you’re spending your time and say “no” to one thing that is no longer serving you.
Life is change. Growth is optional. Choose wisely. Lead Upside.
Keep riding the Upside. It’s all Upside.
